Behind the scenes
at word on the water

If you didn't know about Word on the Water, now you do. It's an incredible bookstore on a barge in the middle of the Regent's Canal, right near Central St. Martins. So no excuse not to stop in. Who knows who, like Sky did, what marvelous person you might meet there . . .

The only way to actually see what was going on was through the monitor which was outside the boat. The inside of the boat, while perfect for shopping for books, is a bit small for a major motion picture. LOL.

Zoë is here as April in her acting debut - which she decided to do after being convinced by French film director, Arthur Joffé. The gorgeous pink dress and hat were designed by Taiwanese wunderkind, Tsai-Feng Chou AKA Freda.

A screenshot of the hat Freda (Tsai-Feng Chou) made for April. All of the costumes for April and all of Sky's performance costumes were made to order by Freda and sent to London from Taiwan. Every single costume fit perfectly.
